Il est très commun dans toute la France. Son feuillage, autrefois récolté en vert, est un très bon fourrage pour les animaux. De son bois, on faisait des lances et des hampes de hallebardes. Tous les usages requérrant un cintrage lui sont bons. C'est un bon combustible. It is commonly found throughout all of France. Its foliage used to harvested green to serve as animal fodder. Its wood was used for making spears and halberd shafts. Whenever bending was required, Common Ash was the favoured wood. It is also good fuel wood. |
