La chenille vit sur le Mélèze et d'autres résineux. L'adulte vole de mai à août. L'espèce a deux types ; rose en plaine, vert en altitude. Parfois on trouve les deux types au même endroit.
On la voit au "Rocher Brûlé" (P 424).

The caterpillar lives off Larch trees and other coniferous trees. The adult moth is airborne from May to August. This species is either pink or green depending on where its natural habitat is located : pink in the plains and green in the mountains. In some areas, both types can be observed together.
It can be spotted at the “Rocher Brûlé” (P 424).
